This exceptional gown walks the fine line and we suspect she was used for performance, quite likely Burlesque!

This gorgeous satin gown is icy blue with an adorable bright pink, green and white floral pattern in which the white accents are slightly raised, a special and unusual textile! This gown features a halter neck with button closure and long metal zipper down the back, which is why we imagine it may have been part of a Burlesque costume. 

Although this gown is in very good, structurally sound and wearable condition, she’s seen better days! The most notable damage is seen around the back of the neck button closure, and therefore not seen much. There are also small pinholes on the back of the bodice as pictured indicating a piece that has been removed, we like to imagine it was a frothy chiffon train. 

This gown would be a wonderful performance dress and is perfect for adding upon! It is hearty and would gladly sustain embellishments!

Hip : upto 34”

Length : 44”(with room to let down an inch or two)

 

This gown is “as presented” and is begging for an encore performance on the stage!
